Moviendo Vidas Foundation was born as an initiative of Grupo Panamá Car Rental, S.A., committed to education, opportunities, and the future of Panama. Aware of the positive impact of music on the comprehensive development of children and youth, we promote orchestral music education in communities facing socioeconomic challenges, providing them with tools for their personal and social growth.

The foundation began in 2017 at the Centro Bilingüe de Formación Integral Nuestra Señora de la Merced, in the El Chorrillo district, with 84 children and 2 teachers. With a commitment to generating an even greater impact, the program was strengthened with 7 specialized teachers, allowing more than 1,000 children to benefit from musical training and orchestral practice.

Thanks to the program’s growth and effectiveness, groups such as the Initial Orchestra, composed of 40 children aged 6 to 9, and the Children’s and Youth Orchestra, with 40 members aged 10 to 20, were created. Currently, the program also includes choral practice, piano lessons, and values education, benefiting more than 500 children and young people annually, thus expanding opportunities for artistic expression and musical development.

As a new demonstration of social and environmental commitment, Automarket and Grupo Panamá Car Rentaljoined forces with the Moviendo Vidas Foundation to continue making a positive impact in the country. As part of the #RentalWithPurpose campaign, 280 Guayacán seedlings—a native tree symbolizing life, hope, and sustainability—were recently planted.

This initiative is part of the joint efforts to build a greener and more caring future, proving that renting a vehicle can also be a way to contribute to social and environmental causes.
